He got all meta on himself with this picture book. That’s exactly what happens in This Book Just Ate My Dog! by Richard Byrne. But what about a book where the book itself is a character? And the reader has to help out to move the story along? Yeah, that blew the mind of my five-year-old niece, too. I had believed the Choose Your Own Adventure books were as interactive as it got.
